Elizabeth Newton’s practice focuses on a variety of labor and employment law matters. Her areas of specialty include employment-related litigation, federal contractor affirmative action (OFCCP) compliance and litigation, employment law counseling, and drafting and interpretation of employment-related contracts.
Elizabeth received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2010, graduating cum laude and with Pro Bono Honors. During law school, Elizabeth worked as a summer associate at the American Cancer Society and a legal extern with the Georgia Hospital Association. She also represented low-income taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service as a student attorney in the College of Law Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic.
Elizabeth earned her B.S., magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 2002. Between undergraduate and law school, she worked as a litigation paralegal at Rogers & Hardin, LLP.
Elizabeth is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association.
